Sycamore School Notes:
Dear boys and girls-----
I am going to tell you something about my school. It is in a beautiful valley surrounded with large oak trees. We have a well nearby. My teacher's name is Miss McElhannon. She sure is good to us and we love her dearly.
I am in the fifth grade. We are in the new room which Mr. Comer had built on to our school just before school opened. He had our blackboards painted over and we surely do appreciate it. The boys are wanting him to have their ball ground cleared off and I believe he will do it. He is improving our school all he can and we are helping him. We have enrolled in our room 60.
Sincerely,
Estelle Hand, 5th grade
